Through both corporate giving and the 3M Foundation, we support initiatives that impact communities and provide solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges. 


    The 3M Foundation forms lasting partnerships with communities worldwide and provides resources to help them succeed and grow—ensuring a more interconnected and thriving world.

    History of Funding

    3Mgives seeks to invest in evidence-based community partners and programs that use innovative approaches to solving problems for underserved communities globally.
    • In St. Paul, Minn., and Austin, Texas, proposals are by invitation only.
    • In all other 3M U.S. communities, send a letter of inquiry to the local facility addressed to 3M Plant Manager.
