The Crystal Trust Foundation will provide support for organizations within the following fields of interest:
Projects serving the following populations are of special interest:
Giving mainly for higher and secondary education and social and family services, including youth and child welfare agencies, family planning, and programs for the aged, the disadvantaged, and the homeless; support also for the arts and cultural programs, health and hospitals, conservation programs, and historical preservation. Needs of the State of Delaware have priority. Emphasis is on gifts for capital and other one-time special purposes, as opposed to gifts for continuing expenses of operations or deficits.
The Crystal Trust Foundation has funded 432 grants to 278 organizations totaling $40,825,484 over the past five years. Examples of past awardees include: Delaware Nature Society Inc, Delaware Tech Community College, Pilot School Inc, The Ministry of Caring Inc, Sacred Heart House Inc, St. Anne's Episcopal School, and Seaford Historical Society.
The Crystal Trust Foundation was established in 1947 in Delaware. The foundation does not maintain a website. Please contact the foundation to verify eligibility prior to submission of a full application. Funds may be used for the following purposes:
No grants to individuals, or for endowment funds, research, scholarships, fellowships, or matching gifts.
