  • Eligibility Details

    To apply for Costco support, organizations must meet the following general requirements:

    • Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
    • Focus on supporting children, education, and/or health and human services
    • Monetary requests only

    Based on the size and scope of your organization/program, please see our two giving options below to determine the appropriate level for your request:


    TO COMPLETE THIS APPLICATION, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS:

    • Cover Letter
    • W-9
    • Organization's budget information (current year and past year)
    • Program budget information (current year and past year if applicable)
    • Measurable Results/Impact Report (for your most recent year of Costco support - if applicable)
    • only required if your organization has received funding in the past


    Deadline Details

    Costco accepts and reviews funding requests throughout the year on a rolling basis, and organizations are eligible to submit one application per fiscal year (Sep-Aug). Your organization will receive a postcard, letter, phone call, or email, generally within 4-6 weeks from the submission of your request. Please make certain the correct contact information is listed on your request.

    Award Details

    Typical award sizes vary, but organizations should not submit proposals for more than 10% of their program's overall budget. For new applicants, they advise submitting conservative requests.
