DEMS administers training grants for volunteer EMS entities. Funds will be targeted at reducing the financial barriers associated with training new Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), and Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT).
None is available.
These funds will be awarded to the EMS agency. The EMS agency will then reimburse the individual if the individual paid for their own training.
North Dakota licensed ambulance services are eligible to apply.
Applications are to be submitted by June 30, annually.
Award amounts vary. Grants will be $200 for the training of each EMR, and $1200 for each EMT and AEMT.
