The fund supports organizations involved with arts and culture, education, health, cancer, housing, disaster relief, human services, and community development. Special emphasis is directed toward organizations with which employees of Eaton are involved.
The fund matches contributions made by full-time employees, retirees, and directors of Eaton and its wholly-owned subsidiaries in the U.S. and Canada to Red Cross and Salvation Army disaster relief funds, K-12 schools, institutions of higher education, and organizations involved with arts and cultural institutions on a one-for-one basis from $25 to $5,000 per contributor, per year.
The fund gave $8.5 million in 2019.
