The Frances Wood Wilson Foundation gives grants largely for child welfare, religious, civic, health, and higher educational organizations; support also for college scholarship funds. The Foundation gives to organizations within the following fields of interest:
Projects serving the following populations are of special interest: Academics, Children and youth, Economically disadvantaged people, and Low-income people.
The Frances Wood Wilson Foundation was established in 1954 in Georgia. The foundation does not maintain a website. Please contact the foundation to verify eligibility prior to submission of a full application. Funds may be used for the following purposes:
No grants to individuals, directly or for endowment funds; no loans.
Giving primarily is limited to non profit organizations in Georgia. Exception made for programs carried on by Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association in Boston, Massachusetts.
Applications are to be submitted by March 1 and September 1, annually.
Awards vary based on scope and size of project, but generally range from $5,000 to $50,000 each.
